Moose International announces CEO Airey will not be in contact with residential students at Mooseheart until further notice

On Thursday, December 13, 2012, Moose International spokesman Kurt Wehrmeister announced that William Airey, CEO and Director General, would not be in contact with residential students at Mooseheart Child City and School until further notice. The statement came in response to the filing of a lawsuit that morning in Ohio by Leto Copeley and three other law firms alleging that Airey sexually abused their client, Jason Peck, when he was 12 years old and the two were neighbors. Wehrmeister said that Airey is currently away from the office but that upon his return, the Board of Moose International would ascertain all facts relating to the situation and would determine what actions, if necessary, might be necessary.
