Michael Alexander, former Hildebran Elementary School teacher, pleads guilty to six felony counts involving sex abuse of students

A Burke County third grade teacher and drama coach was given a 49-year sentence on Thursday, after he pleaded guilty to three counts of felony first degree sex offense with a child, and to three felony counts of taking indecent liberties with a child. Michael Alexander was caught when videos he made surfaced in a bust of a child pornography ring in Spain. In addition to making videos of his young students wearing fetish material, Alexander engaged in sexual contact with multiple child victims. A link to the story is here. Leto Copeley, along with  Seth Langson of Charlotte, represents one of Alexander’s victims, and is seeking witnesses with knowledge about Alexander and his activities.
