Along with fellow members of the Hillsborough Rotary Club, Leto traveled to Cary and carried a gallon of water while walking a mile, in order to raise funds and awareness for people around the world who don’t have ready access to fresh water. This was the second annual event for Rotary District 7710. A link to the event can be found here. Last year the event raised over $10,000, and because of Rotary’s matching grant system, an additional $20,000 was contributed to support three projects to help bring safe drinking water to communities around the world.
