Leto Copeley coordinates seminar for the NC Bar Association

Leto, along with Jason James of Poyner Spruill in Charlotte, helped the Litigation Section of the North Carolina Bar Association put on a class for lawyers during its annual meeting. The class was filled to capacity. Leto and Jason planned the program and arranged for lawyers and judges to teach. The lawyers who attended learned about new rules for issuing subpoenas and for getting evidence in front of a jury at trial. They also learned about how to avoid making mistakes when their cases are appealed. The Litigation Section has more than 2,000 lawyer members who represent people and companies in both sides of lawsuits, and promotes education and professional conduct for its members.
