In a suit filed Monday, a Florida daycare is being accused of negligence and misrepresentation. The mother of a six-year-old boy alleges that her son endured repeated sexual abuse by an older boy in the daycare’s gym. According to the lawsuit, the older boy was permitted by the daycare to construct a fort-type structure. This structure allowed the older boy unsupervised access to the six-year-old. Also, according to the victim’s mother, the daycare promised her there were cameras in every room, however, there was no camera found in the daycare’s gym.
