Alleged sexual abuse of a Catholic School student leads to $5,000,000.00 lawsuit

A lawsuit was filed in Coconut Grove, FL alleging a first-grade student was a victim of regular sexual abuse at the hands of a fellow student. According to the lawsuit, a first-grade boy was abused by his “bathroom buddy” for three months last year. The Archdiocese of Miami and St. Hugh Catholic School are both named in the lawsuit, which contends that both parties failed to provide proper adult supervision and failed to separate the boys, even after the alleged victim’s parents notified the school of the situation.
